Middle Township High School Lands Spot in National Vans Sneaker-Art Competition

Some artsy sneakers out of Middle Township are one step closer to running off with the grand prize in a national competition.

Middle Township High School students stomped out some of the competition in the Vans Custom Culture Art Competition with creative sneaker-art designs that have landed the South Jersey students a spot in the top five.

Next week, the Vans sneaker company will announce which one of the five remaining schools — from across the country — will receive the grand prize of $75,000. 

Everyone walks away a winner in the Vans contest however, with each runner-up school earning $10,000 for its art program.
