Mary Duffy Field Park Opens New Handicapped-Accessible Playground

It was an exciting weekend for residents in one Gloucester County community.

On Sunday, April 22nd, the Williamstown Sunrise Rotary Foundation held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the new handicapped-accessible playground at Mary Duffy Field Park in Williamstown.

The new playground was built with help from volunteers in the community to give every child in the neighborhood a safe place to play.

Williamstown Sunrise Rotary began fundraising for the project two years ago, and with community support was able to reach a goal of $175,000. The project broke ground last year.
