Atlantic County Sheriff Promotes Eight Officers

MAYS LANDING, NJ — On Friday, April 13th, Atlantic County Sheriff Eric Scheffler promoted four officers to the rank of sergeant and four sergeants to the rank of lieutenant.

Scheffler said the officers tested for their respective ranks through the Civil Service Process and in addition met with an interview board for over 30 minutes each.

“I am very proud of these officers and am confident they will be an instrumental part of moving my office forward,” Sheriff Scheffler said.
