Alley Cat Allies to Hold Workshops About Neutering Stray Cats This Weekend

Volunteers in Atlantic County are taking steps to protect cats in the community.

On Saturday, April 14th, Alley Cat Allies is offering a cat workshop doubleheader to continue its ongoing work to save the lives of cats in Atlantic County.

The two workshops will take place at the Galloway branch of the Atlantic County Library System beginning at 10 a.m., and will focus on helping cats in the community and fundraising.

Alice Burton, the associate director of Animal Shelter and Animal Control Engagement for Ally Cat Allies will demonstrate the steps involved with the Trap-Neuter-Return Program.

Alley Cat Allies runs the Atlantic City Boardwalk Cat Program, which is used as a national model for taking care of large stray cat populations.
