LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

The Gloucester County Dream Park and the Bureau of Land Management are hosting a wild horse and burro adoption event.

The event, which kicked off on Friday, April 13th, is encouraging residents, whether they are current, previous, or want to become horse owners, to consider attending in order to help find loving homes for some of the Dream Park's loving animals.

Officials say while adopting a wild horse or burro may appear challenging due to their wild nature, with the right amount of love and care owners will be able to earn the trust of these animals and, in a way, own a part of our nation’s history.

The event will continue on Saturday, April 14th, at 8 a.m.
