'A Soldiers Life' Showcases Reenactments at Red Bank BattlefieldLast Edited:
Residents in Gloucester County will have the chance to experience history in a unique way this weekend.
The Whitall House at Red Bank Battlefield will host a new living history military encampment called A Soldiers Life, which will open to the public for free on Sunday, April 15th, thanks to a $2,300 grant from the Gloucester County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. and will allow residents of all ages to experience a variety of different reenactments as well as enjoy live music, a tour of the Whitall House and the battlefield, and learn from Revolutionary War-era soldiers.
Officials say the free event is a fun way for the community to learn about an important part of American history.
