Abandoned Building Next to Jim's Lunch to Come Down Soon

Final plans are being put in place for the demolition of the abandoned building at 109 East Main Street, right next to the iconic Millville eatery, Jim’s Lunch.

Millville Closer to Demolishing Condemned Building Next to Jim's Lunch 

SNJ Today has learned that, as of Thursday afternoon, April 12th, after an emergency contractor was hired to secure the condemned structure, the City of Millville obtained an order from Judge Mark Cimino to demolish the building.

According to Millville Mayor Michael Santiago, the structural engineer that the city hired, Pennoni, of Haddon Heights, is currently making the final detailed demolition plan, as of Friday, April 13th.

Perryman’s Excavating Inc. of Milmay, is the contractor and is ready to begin the demolition soon after the plan is finalized, according to the mayor.
