A.C. Mayor Frank Gilliam Honors Local Red Cross Chapter

A local Red Cross chapter was honored for all the work they do in the South Jersey area.

On Friday, April 6th, Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam presented the American Red Cross-Southern Shore chapter with a proclamation to honor and acknowledge the dedication and commitment the organization provides.

Gilliam says the proclamation is to show the organization and all its volunteers just how much the city's residents appreciate them.

"On behalf of the city of Atlantic City we are very grateful," said Gilliam. "Anything that we can do to actually get the word out on all the great things that the 'Red Cross' does, it's our job."
