Experts Predict Recent Rise in Gas Prices to Continue

NEW JERSEY -

Drivers in New Jersey are starting to see higher prices at the pump and experts say those prices are only going to continue to go up.

Officials with AAA Mid-Atlantic say the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state as of Friday, March 30th, was $2.67, which is about 6 cents higher than the week before.

Motorists right here and across the country are seeing increases in gas prices with drivers paying about 30 cents more per gallon than they did this time last year.

Analysts say the market is starting to purge winter-blend gasoline to make room for more expensive summer-blend gasoline, and that some areas may eventually see prices exceed last year's high price.
