Police Investigate Potential Threat at A.C. High School on National Walkout Day

Students at Atlantic City High School were placed under a lockdown after a staff member was notified of a potential threat outside of the school.

State and local police were already on the scene as added security for Wednesday, March 14th's anticipated walkout, when they were informed that weapons may be hidden somewhere around the outside of the school.

Authorities immediately began an investigation and extensively searched inside and outside of the school.

No weapons were discovered, and students and staff were safely dismissed at their regularly scheduled time.
