A.C. Casino Revenue Slumps in February

Last Edited:

The temperatures weren't the only things that were down in the month of February.

Revenue for Atlantic City's seven casinos was down 6.5 percent last month when compared to a year ago, bringing in only $192 million.

Officials say without the $21 million boost from internet gambling, the decline would have been nearly 9 percent for the month.

The Golden Nugget was the only casino to report an increase in February, up 16 percent for the month, while Caesars posted the biggest monthly decline at 23 percent.
