A.C. Police Honor Officer Thomas J. McMeekin, Jr. on Anniversary of His Death

Over the weekend, police in Atlantic City honored the memory of one of their own.

On Sunday, March 4th, family, friends and officers with the Atlantic City Police Department gathered to honor the 13th anniversary of the line-of-duty death of Officer Thomas J. McMeekin, Jr.

McMeekin was 28 years old when he was struck and killed by a bus while directing traffic at an accident scene in 2005.

Officials they will continue to honor and celebrate his life and the work he did for years to come.
