Officials with Stockton University kicked off their school week in the giving spirit.

From Sunday, February 19th, into Monday, February 20th, Stockton representatives invited students, faculty, alumni, and members of the community to "give back, get back, and make impact," for 1,969 minutes, at their first ever Ospreys Give event.

The school's first graduating class year was 1969.

Through the support of everyone in the Stockton community, the fund-raising marathon managed to exceed their first year goal and raised more than $100,000 to support student scholarships, fund programs, support athletics, and much more.

Officials say the outpouring of support from Stockton community members was nothing short of amazing and they look forward to growing the event in the future.
