Morgan Brian and Rose Lavelle return to the U.S. women's national team after dealing with injuries last year in preparation for the SheBelieves Cup next month.
Brian, in France playing for Lyon, will not take part in training camp in Orlando but will be available for the final SheBelieves Cup roster. Brian had with both knee and groin injuries last year, while Lavelle struggled with a hamstring injury.
The 26-player roster was announced Wednesday by coach Jill Ellis. The list will be whittled down to 23 for the SheBelieves Cup, which opens on March 1 against Germany at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to the top-ranked U.S. team and No. 2 Germany, the tournament includes No. 3 England and No. 6 France. Matches will also be played at in Harrison, New Jersey, and Orlando, Florida.
