Hometown Heroes 2018: Frank Rumick

Last Edited:

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J.—Frank Rumick, as vice-president of the Vineland Rotary Club, is in charge of fundraising—needless to say a key job in such an active club. He also serves on the membership, youth services, and Feeding Children Everywhere (FCE) Committees. The FCE project last year incredibly purchased and packaged 20,000 nutritious meals which were distributed entirely locally.

Frank is a longtime, dedicated volunteer at Bishop Schad Regional School in Vineland and member of the golf committee, helping to arrange fundraising tournaments. His extensive volunteer work involves having the same position for the Cumberland County College Foundation Board. Frank, in fact, never stops volunteering. Other important efforts include committee person for the Cumberland/Salem Boy Scouts of America Man of The Year reception committee and key volunteer for the huge fundraiser for Project Thanksgiving every year.
