Hometown Heroes 2018: Raquel Soto

Last Edited:

CUMBERLAND COUNTY—Raquel Soto is a very caring, considerate, and hard-working person, as many witnessed while she worked on the Heart to Heart One Cumberland Puerto Rico Telethon in December. Though she spent her early childhood moving around the United States, at age 11, she moved to Puerto Rico where she resided until her second year of college.

Having lived on the island, her insight and passion were irreplaceable for those who attended weekly Heart to Heart planning meetings with her. Raquel joined Capital Bank of New Jersey as Assistant Branch Manager of the Bank’s West Landis Avenue office a year ago. However, if you question her vocation in life, she would likely respond with comments about her three children and husband. She possesses strong core values that shine through in everything that she does.
