Hometown Heroes 2018: Terri Spoltore

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. – Terri Spoltore, vice-president of Patient Care Services for Inspira Medical Center Woodbury, was recently named Nurse Executive of the Year by the Organization of Nurse Leaders of New Jersey. She has received numerous awards in her 29-year career, as she climbed the ladder from staff nurse to her current role.

They include Inspira Health Network President’s Award, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year for Adult Critical Care, and Inspira Health Network’s Director of the Year. Her nominator’s words: “I was fortunate enough to have her as my nurse when I had a heart attack. At that time, she was employed as a nurse in the ICU at Newcomb Hospital and accompanied me in the ambulance when I was transferred to Cooper Hospital in Camden. She is a compassionate, caring individual.”
