Hill brought the concept of sexual harassment to the forefront back in 1991 when she testified during the Supreme Court confirmation hearing of Judge Clarence Thomas.

School officials say they chose Hill to be the keynote speaker in part because she is a strong female role model for their students.

She will speak at the commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 17th, and will also be given an honorary doctor of laws degree from the university.
