JFS New Jersey Gets $1.6 Million Grant for Affordable Housing

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey has received a new grant to help fund a project that will bring in more affordable housing to southern New Jersey.

On Tuesday, February 6th, M&T Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York announced they have awarded more than $4 million in grants to four New Jersey-based community non-profits.

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey was among the organizations to receive a grant for its new Cherry Hill housing project.

The federation was awarded a $1.6 million grant which will be used to create 79 affordable housing units to help residents in need in the community.
