Teen Boy Dies After Being Shot in Camden

Although crime rates in Camden have been on a decline, officials and residents are reminded that crime still hits close to home following the shooting death of a teenage boy in the city.

On Monday, January 8th, at around 1:20 p.m. police were called to the area of South 29th and Clinton streets for reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old boy lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
