Man Shot Outside Cumberland Mall after Drug Deal Gone Wrong

Police in Vineland are investigating a shooting in an apparent drug deal gone wrong that left one man injured outside of the Cumberland Mall Monday.

On Monday, January 8th, police say a 29-year-old man was meeting in the alleged suspect's car in the Boscov's parking lot to purchase narcotics when the suspect attempted to rob him.

The suspect allegedly stole the victim's cash and shot him in the leg before leaving the area.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his injury.
