N.J. State Police Respond to 254 Motor Vehicle Crashes, Come to Aid of Even More

The Garden State Parkway was virtually empty on Thursday, January 4th, but even so, officials have reduced speeds along the length of the parkway to 35 miles per hour.

The New Jersey State Police report that they have responded to 254 motor vehicle crashes and have come to the aid of 554 drivers, while many more local agencies were responding to stuck vehicles throughout South Jersey.

Flights scheduled throughout the day at Atlantic City International Airport were all canceled due to the dangerous conditions.
