Suspicious Fires in Gloucester Township Being Investigated

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Officials in Gloucester Township are investigating a fire that broke out at a construction site early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, January 3rd, emergency responders throughout the Gloucester Township area were called to a construction site on Iron Gate Road in the township at around 4 a.m. for reports of flames coming from the complex.

No injuries were reported, but several unoccupied townhomes were severely damaged.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and is being investigated by the local fire marshal, the Gloucester Township Police Department, the Camden County Prosecutors Office, and the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety.

These groups are also investigating fires at several townhouses that happened on the dates of September 29th, 2017 and November 27th, 2017 at the same construction site on Iron Gate Road.
