ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. -

For the 27th consecutive year customers of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) have given from their heart for the holidays.

This year's ACUA Holiday Food Drive brought in more than 21,000 pounds of food for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey - Southern Branch.

The ACUA made donating the food easy by asking county residents to put their donations of non-perishable food items out with their recycling during the first two weeks of December.

When you add this year's collection to the total amount of food collected over the past 27 years, the ACUA has brought in more than 835,253 pounds of food for those in need in southern New Jersey.
