GLASSBORO, N.J. -

A South Jersey non-profit is bringing Santa's Workshop to the area this holiday season.

On Monday, December 11th, officials with Robin's Nest got to work on putting the finishing touches on their Santa's Workshop inside their headquarters in Glassboro.

They hope to bring holiday cheer to children in need this holiday season.

Over the last month, Robin's Nest has been collecting toys and holiday goodies for families they serve so they can come pick out a gift from Santa.

Officials with Robin's Nest say that each year they are able to bring joy to more than 1,000 children who have become part of their family.

"When they come into Robin's Nest and we're supporting them, they are a part of our family," said Melissa Fox, COO of Robin's Nest. "So as any other family member, you want them to be happy. That's what we're hoping that they feel when they come in, and they can share these gifts with their children."

This year's Santa's Workshop will open to the Robin's Nest families starting on Tuesday, December 12th, and will remain open until Thursday, December 14th.
