NEW JERSEY -

Two months after Governor Chris Christie deployed hundreds of New Jersey law enforcement officers to help with relief efforts in Puerto Rico, the Troopers are finally back home.

Over the weekend, New Jersey State Troopers, State Department officials, as well as officers from various law-enforcement agencies throughout the state who took part in the New Jersey Puerto Rico Integrated Deployment Effort, or NJ P.R.I.D.E, began to filter their way back home.

Christie praised the work of the brave relief team saying the state is beyond grateful for its service to those on the island who are still picking up the pieces left behind by the recent hurricanes.
