CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. -

The Cumberland County community rallied together to raise money to help hurricane victims in Puerto Rico.

On Sunday, December 3rd, the newly formed nonprofit One Cumberland, in partnership with SNJ Today, held the Heart to Heart Puerto Rico Telethon bringing the entire community together to help get much-needed relief sent to the island that was left devastated by Hurricane Maria three months ago.

Through the generosity of local businesses, officials, and community members, One Cumberland was able to raise more than $56,000 and isn't stopping there.

Donations will be accepted now through Saturday, January 6th, 2018, at various locations throughout Cumberland County or online at onecumberland.net.

All of the proceeds raised will go towards shipping goods to Puerto Rico so that they can be distributed to the people there.
