NEW JERSEY -

The New Jersey State Police Department has a K-9 dog like no other joining their team.

The New Jersey State Police K-9 Unit held a recent training session for their dogs at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Among the dogs at the training was the department's — and, according to the New Jersey Attorney General, America's — first electronic storage detection K-9 dog. The dog's name is Mega.

Mega can sniff out things such as cell phones, portable hard drives, and SD cards, which officials say is a great tool in catching child predators who make and share child pornography on those devices.
