PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. -

Lucky seniors in Atlantic County got to ring in December with a fun holiday bash.

On Friday, December 1st, the city of Pleasantville's Senior Citizens Advisory Board hosted its annual Christmas party at the Pleasantville Recreation Center for seniors in the area.

Officials say the Christmas party was a fun way to get seniors in the community into the holiday spirit and that it's something they look forward to each year.

"Seniors have paid their dues and this is the one thing that the city can do for them that's just saying thank you and come out and have a good time," said councilwoman Judy Ward of Pleasantville.

"So it's just important to see them having such a good time those that can make it out."
