CHERRY HILL, N.J. -

The Greater South Jersey Chorus (GSJC) will bring the sounds of the season to Cherry Hill in a holiday concert for the entire community to enjoy.

The chorus says that attendees can expect to hear traditional holiday songs, as well as music from Broadway musicians such as Jason Robert Brown and Stephen Schwarz. Schwarz arranged music for Broadway hits Wicked and The Secret Garden.

The "Season of Light" concert series will take place in two venues this year — for each date.

On Saturday, December 16th, it will be at Christ Our Light Catholic Church (402 Kings Highway North), and on Sunday, December 17th, it will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church (401 Kings Highway).

Artistic director of the Greater South Jersey Chorus Christopher B. Thomas said that Respighi's Laud to the Nativity and Lampl's Jerusalem will accompany the sounds of Christmas and Hanukkah classics.

The GSJC pieced together an ensemble of more than 90 people led by Thomas an Maximillian Esmus.

The December 16th concert begins at 8 p.m., and the December 17th show is a matinee, starting at at 3 p.m.

Admission is $20. To purchase tickets, or for more information, visit GreaterSouthJerseyChorus.org.
