CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. -

A group of 25 concerned citizens from Cumberland County have come together to create a new organization to help Puerto Rico, following the recent disaster there.

telethonTwo months after being ravaged by Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico still needs help after receiving aid from United States government, U.S. citizens, and from all around the world.

The group, One Cumberland, will be holding the Heart to Heart Puerto Rico Telethon in Millville on Sunday, December 3rd, from 4-8 p.m. to raise money for Puerto Rico. The telethon will feature an assortment of talented musicians and performers from the southern New Jersey region.

In addition to the group's website — onecumberland.net — the telethon will be broadcast on SNJ Today TV-22 (Comcast), 99.9 FM, and the I Love Cumberland County Facebook page.

Anyone can call 877-392-3770 during those hours to make a donation. Or visit onecumberland.net to make a donation.

Through the Organization Challenge, organizations can help too. By raising $1,000 or more, organizations will have the opportunity to present their donation on-air during the telethon. If an organization raises $5,000 or more, a camera crew will tour the business and the video will be played before the organization presents the check live on-air.
