GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. -

A former longtime county prosecutor has landed a new position working with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office.

Sean Dalton, former Gloucester County Prosecutor, will now serve as the new Assistant Attorney General with the Division of Criminal Justice, where he will assist officials with implementing statewide policies ranging from criminal justice reform to domestic violence and police-related issues.

Dalton served as the prosecutor for Gloucester County since 2002, but learned earlier this month that he would not be reappointed to the position. He has since been replaced by Charles Fiore, who was sworn in as Acting County Prosecutor on Wednesday, November 22nd, while he waits for his nomination by Governor Chris Christie to be confirmed by the state Senate.
