Gas Station Clerk Injured in Armed Robbery, Suspect Sought

Atlantic County officials are looking for information regarding a recent armed robbery.

The incident happened on Monday, November 13th, around 9 p.m. at the DELTA gas station on W. White Horse Pike in Galloway.

Police say 58-year-old Mirza Baig was working inside the gas station booth when he was approached and attacked by a man with a baseball bat.

The suspect, who is described as a white man, between the ages of 35 and 40, with a long dark-colored beard, stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Baig was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment of his non life-threatening injuries.
