Cape May, Cumberland County Initiate Code Blue

Freezing temperatures have caused counties throughout the Garden State to activate a Code Blue.

Officials in Cape May County have issued a Code Blue advisory, which will be in effect from 7 p.m on Friday, November 10th until 10 a.m. Saturday, November 11th, as overnight temperatures are expected to drop as low as 20 degrees.

Earlier this week, Cumberland County activated a Code Blue that will begin at 6 p.m., on Friday, November 10th, and will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday, November 11th.

Warming centers have been opened for homeless residents to escape the freezing conditions.
