New Jersey Voters Approve Library Construction Bond Act

Voters throughout the state had the chance to cast their vote for two key issues on Election Day 2017.

The first ballot question asked whether voters approved the New Jersey Library Construction Bond Act, which would provide more funding to libraries throughout the state.

The measure was approved with 59 percent of voters.

The measure will allow $125,000,000 to be matched with municipalities across the state, equaling $250,000,000 going into the economy.
