CAMDEN, N.J. -

Students and members of the community stopped by Rutgers University-Camden on Friday, November 3rd, to explore the world of digital language art.

The Digital Studies Center at Rutgers-Camden kicked off the event, "You Are Here: A Festival of Digital Language Art."

The two-day festival includes a series of hands-on workshops and performances to help attendees gain concrete skills and gather language materials, resources and concepts in order to begin, advance, or energize digital writing projects.

Digital language art is an emerging field that explores the interactions between texts produced in conjunction with other media, including visual art, sound art, games, installation art, video, and live performance.
