HAMMONTON, N.J. -

Stockton University has made it easy for transfer students to seal the deal and officially become Stockton students.

Stockton held its Transfer Instant Decision Day on Wednesday, November 1st, to speed up the process for prospective transfer students to become members of the Stockton community.

Officials say the day is a great way to give qualified students the chance to talk to admissions officials and "walk away" with acceptance into the university.

"We are providing interested students who are looking at Stockton for either the fall or spring semesters of next year an instant decision," said Steve Phillips, assistant director of Admissions at Stockton University.

"They can bring in their applications, their transcripts, and any other materials and I can render a decision right on the spot."

Prospective transfer students were able to make an appointment to meet with Phillips to ask any questions and determine whether they are qualified to be accepted into the university.

Once Phillips approved their application, the students are one step closer to walking into their first Stockton classroom.
