Camden County Offering Free Flu Shots to Residents

RUNNEMEDE, N.J. -

Flu season is upon us and Camden County is making it easy for residents to get vaccinated.

As part of the 2017 Seasonal Influenza Immunization Program, Camden County officials stopped by another location in Runnemede on Tuesday, October 31st, to provide residents 9 years of age or older with free flu shots.

Officials say providing the free service is a great way to encourage everyone in the community to keep themselves protected.

Flu shots are especially recommended for those with weakened immune or cardiovascular systems, as well as high-priority groups including senior citizens, pregnant women, and chronically ill individuals.

Camden County will be offering free flu shots until Friday, November 9th.
