The 11th annual Walk, Run, Survive 5K for Lung Cancer Awareness will be held on Saturday, November 11th, at Newport Avenue and the Boardwalk in Ventnor to benefit the Every Breath Counts Foundation.

Awards will be given to runners in several categories.

“We’re thrilled to be continuing the Walk, Run, Survive 5K, where it all began in Ventnor,” said Barbara Jean Douglas, president of Every Breath Counts.

“Since Atlantic and Cape May counties have high incidences of lung cancer, it’s vitally important for us to support research and patient care right here in South Jersey.”

All proceeds raised by Every Breath Counts are donated directly to three lung cancer-focused organizations: the South Jersey Cancer Fund, the Lungevity Foundation and the Lung Cancer Alliance.
