$5K Reward Being Offered in Connection to Murder Investigation

Officials in Gloucester County are offering a new reward in relation to an ongoing homicide investigation in Woodbury.

The Woodbury Police Department and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office are jointly offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever is responsible for the September 2017 murder of 26-year-old Shawneeq M. Carter.

Carter's body was found inside a home she was house-sitting at on Hopkins Street in Woodbury on Saturday, September 23rd, around 7:30 p.m.

An autopsy revealed the cause of death was blunt force trauma. Officials ruled the case a homicide.
