CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. -

A local developer has received state funding in efforts of revitalizing communities throughout the state, including in southern New Jersey.

The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency has awarded Eastern Pacific Development in Vineland with financing commitments totaling $46 million for three projects that are expected to bring more jobs and money into the communities they are located in.

Two of the three projects are located in our area: The Rivergrove Family Apartments in Bridgeton, and phase four of the Winslow Cross Creek Housing Project in Winslow Township.

The general contractor for both projects is Brookfield Construction of Vineland.

Officials say the projects will help bring more affordable housing options to residents in the area.
