Vineland Rotary Club Gathering Christmas Gifts for Haitian Kids

VINELAND, N.J. -

Christmas may be a few months away, but members of the Vineland Rotary Club are getting ahead of the game by getting presents ready to children in need.

This week, the Rotary Club got to work being Santa's helpers by collecting and packing "goodie bags" for the Healthy Bags for Happy Kids project.

The project, created by the Faith and Love in Action organization, aims to help children in need in Haiti live cleaner and happier lives by giving them access to hygiene products, toys, and school supplies.

On Tuesday, October 6th, members of the Vineland Rotary Club helped fill 150 one-gallon bags, and also collectively donated $500 to the cause.

Students in Mountain Villages in Haiti will receive the bags in time for Christmas.
