Stockton University students got the chance to sit down with possible employers on Thursday, Oct. 5.

Stockton students — dressed for success — made their way to the university's Sports Center for the Fall 2017 Career and Internship Fair.

The event welcomed more than 100 employers looking for students to fill full-time and internship positions at their respective companies.

Walter Tarver, assistant dean of students at Stockton University, said he was pleased to see the students "so well prepared" not only with regard to their clothing, but "how their resumes look and ... their excitement about planning for that next stage [and] seeing the finish line finally."

Tarver added that the event is an opportunity for students to network with employers, find out what opportunities are out there and, for undergraduates, "what can they do now to be prepared for graduation once they get into their senior year."

Among the employers were former Stockton University students who were sharing words of wisdom with potential employees about their career paths.

Stockton holds a Career and Internship Fair each spring and fall semester to expose students to different opportunities.
