ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. -

A South Jersey health network is teaming up with Veterans Affairs (VA) to improve medical care for local veterans.

On Wednesday, October 4th, AtlantiCare announced a new partnership agreement with the VA, which they hope will enhance access to quality medical care for veterans in Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties.

Effective immediately, veterans who are members of the VA Choice Program can get care at any AtlantiCare facility with approval from the VA.

Officials said the new agreement will help AtlantiCare and the Veteran's Affairs better serve those who have done so much serving our country.

For more information, contact your local VA community based outpatient clinic, or visit VA.gov.
