Zara, the four-month old snow leopard at the Cape May County Zoo passed away on Monday, October 2nd, after she became sick from an aggressive infection.

Zara was one of two snow leopard cubs who were born at the zoo in May. They were part of a national program to help save the endangered species.

She was introduced to the zoo community over the summer and has been a star to visitors ever since.
