CAMDEN, N.J. -

On Thursday, September 7th, New Jersey state and local officials met in Camden to officially mark the completion of a new technology park.

Holtec International held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the Krishna P. Singh Technology Campus, named in honor of the company's founder and president.

The state-of-the-art campus features a large manufacturing plant and a seven-story engineering office building, which officials say will continue to help boost Camden's economy and offer more jobs to the South Jersey city's residents.

The project, which began construction in 2014, was completed 18 months ahead of schedule.

Holtec's CEO stated he is expecting the company to employ more than 2,000 people by the end of the decade.
