A Margate organization has received some much-needed funding to help support its community outreach programs.

Officials with the Bank of America Charitable Foundation announced on Wednesday, September 6th, that it has awarded the Jewish Family Services agency with a grant for $15,000 to fund an intake department and food pantry.

Officials say the grant will help JFS bring proper nutrition to the families it serves in Atlantic County.

Jewish Family Services' food pantry serves more than 200 families in need per month, and provides additional services to them including housing and health care.
