Vineland Police Searching for Suspects in Attempted Homicide

Police in Vineland are investigating an attempted homicide at an apartment complex over Labor Day weekend.

The Vineland Police Department responded to the Axtell Apartment Complex on Axtell Avenue in Vineland on Saturday, September 2nd, at around 2 a.m., for reports of gun fire.

When police arrived they discovered a young man had been shot in his side.

First responders were able to stabilize the man and he was later flown to Cooper Medical Center for additional treatment.

According to police, two suspects dressed in all black, or dark colors, were involved in the shooting and fled the scene on foot.
