Philadelphia Flyers Donation Benefits Cape May County Veterans

The Philadelphia Flyers are giving back to some revered members of one South Jersey community.

An official from the Flyers charitable organization presented the Cape May County Citizens Veterans Advisory Committee with a $13,500 donation. 

The Citizens Veterans Advisory Committee is a volunteer based veterans advocacy group that provides emergency funding to veterans who are struggling with basic needs.

The check was presented in Stone Harbor by Jim McCrossin, the director of sports medicine for the Flyers.
