ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -

Atlantic City is getting ready for an annual festival set to take place this weekend.

Signs are beginning to pop up in the resort for the 6th annual Historical Kentucky Avenue Renaissance Festival, to be held on Saturday, August, 5th, from noon to 8 p.m. along Kentucky Avenue between Atlantic and Arctic avenues, an area that was once thriving with live-music clubs, jazz shows and entertainment of all types.

This year's festival will feature historical exhibits, live music, food, local vendors, and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The event marks the rebirth of the historical Kentucky Avenue "entertainment district" by the Polaris Development Group, and is free to the public.
